Supporting vocational training in China
Rexel is partnering with the Schneider Electric Foundation to fund renovations and provide equipment for 2 training laboratories
In October 2012, as part of an agreement with the Schneider Electric Foundation, Rexel launched its first project in support of the Taiyuan school in Shanxi Province in China. The school trains underprivileged students in the energy trade. The project, which was supported by Guangha Foundation, aims to refurbish and equip two laboratories and educate 300 students over 2 years.
Objectives
- Renovate and equip laboratories to ensure the training of future electricians.
- Improve the training of underprivileged electrical engineering students.
